Policies:
- Upon receiving your scheduled project I will contact you within 24 hours via email with questions and arrangements.
- Payment is due before the project is begun. Except under pre-arranged situations all projects are based on an hourly rate with a one hour minimum payment requirement on any job. If the assignment ends up requiring less hours than you have paid for I will cheerfully refund any part of your payment that was not used.
- I will make adjustments in the pay rate for long-term or permanent assignments.
- Paypal is my preferred method of payment, but I will accept a check through mail if that is your only way of paying.
- You will have 24 hours after completion of the project to approve or request an edit of my work. Edits requested after 24 hours will incur an additional discounted fee.
- Turn around for proofreading and editing of reports, blog posts, web pages, articles, etc. is two business days. Ebooks, print books and audio transcriptions require five business days. I usually complete all assignments in less time than those stated
but I give myself a little leeway in case of computer downtime or other unexpected occurrences.
If the project will take longer than the times stated above I will contact you by email or a Twitter Direct Message at which time you may make a decision regarding your order.
Please note that I do reserve the right to change my quoted fee if during the completion of the project it proves to be more detailed than first anticipated.
Once work has begun on a project there are no refunds if for any reason you choose to cancel the assignment. - To assure my very best work and timeliness, monthly retainer clients are limited to TWO.
- All completed assignments can be tracked for time spent on them if requested.
- I will respond to all email inquiries within 24 hours of receipt unless noted on the website that I am unavailable for a certain time period.
